A hidden gem. Inexpensive and really good food. Good for groups. Ignore the shady bar when u walk in. Walk right past the bar area to the back dining room. Good friendly service. Good food. Nice beer selection. Highly recommend!!!

The patrons and especially the bartender found various ways to make myself and my wife feeling patently unwelcome. Specifically sustained unsmiling glares from other customers and the waiter never once offering a food menu or drink refill. The atmosphere reminded me of that which I've heard described from Jim Crow days of the South.

Don't overlook this great restaurant at the beach. I've eaten here many times in all seasons and never had a bad meal. Crab cakes, fettuccine Bolognese, scallops, salads, etc.--all great. It's kid-friendly if you come early. Stop here on your way to the boardwalk and you won't be disappointed.

Some friends and I had dinner at Rigby's last weekend. It was a splendid experience. I had the pork chops, which were expertly prepared by the chef. The were succulent and savory. Hats off to the chef Paul Lowe. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was personal and pleasant. I will absolutely return.

We went here on a whim on a Saturday night with four kids under 4 and they were AMAZING! As soon as we sat they brought out crayons for the kids. They actually went out and bought milk for our children to drink! They brought the children's food out as quick as possible which was so helpful. The adult dishes were amazing, great portions, we took home our leftovers the food was so good. The entire staff was so thoughtful. When we were leaving I was texting my parents, that are locals, recommending this place.

Horrible service. Hands down, worst bartender I have ever had the displeasure of being around. We literally didn't even order any drinks, eat any food, or spend more than 1 minute in this establishment, but that was enough for a lifetime. The second we walked in, the rude bartender started screaming at us to leave because we looked young. She yelled at us about how "this is Delaware! This is OUR state and its our laws!" I was in utter shock by the way the bar would treat their customers, but I guess that's what you get when businesses don't depend on repeat customers. Save yourself a long walk and DONT GO.

This is a bar on one side, and a restaurant on the other. The restaurant serves very good food, from pasta to duck breast to lamb chops. Prices have been adjusted from the high a few years back and are now more reasonable. Not usually very crowded, except in tourist season.

The music was, well, not to our taste. But. The waiter, Sly, the atmosphere(minus the too loud live music) great! But the food. Oh, man. Tomato basil soup, key lime pie, wedge salad, the shrimp dish--- all spectacular. In fact, it's the best key lime pie I've ever had, including my own recipe!

Good, inexpensive food and a wide variety of options to choose from. It's not the fanciest, but you can get a bottle of wine for $20, plus an entree with two sides for well under that. It is a nice alternative to some of the more expensive spots in Rehoboth if you are looking for a solid, reasonably priced meal. However, I did not appreciate being harrassed in the mens' room ("Hey, hey, let me look!") by a couple of guys. There is no place for that, and it did negatively color my experience there.

We had a mediocre experience at Rigby's. The signature dish, the bolognese, was flavorless. The flounder piccata was very good, but the crab cakes were average. We wanted to try the key lime pie, made in house, but it was being baked as we sat there (hard to believe on a Saturday night). There is no kids's menu, and they don't really try to accommodate children all that much. I suppose the place gets crowded later in the evening, but we arrived to an empty restaurant at 6:00 pm. I had higher hopes.

A friend and I recently tried Rigby's for dinner and were very disappointed. The restaurant was not busy. After being presented menus, our drink order was taken. We each asked for a beverage from the bar and a glass of water. Twenty minutes later our bar beverages arrived, but no water. It was 'burger night' and we ordered from the special menu. We each ordered a salad, a burger, another drink from the bar and the water we did not receive. After an hour, our burgers appeared-no salad and no drinks. We each made minor changes to the burgers on the menu which were ignored. We ordered our burgers medium-well and well done. The burgers arrived RAW-sticky wet center. We asked for our check for the drinks. The manager let us know the drinks were on the house and presented a $25 gift card to try them again. A neighboring table laughed when they saw our gift card. They produced their own gift card adding they were issued the same apology last year and decided to try this restaurant again. They too had bad service and a dangerously undercooked burger. We will not be returning to Rigby's. I urge you to do the same or dine at your own risk!

We were here for Sunday brunch and all of us loved it. I had a grilled cheese with bacon and apple that was fabulous.

Rigby's once again did not disappoint. We went for Brunch this time, the food was excellent and the service was exceptional. We have gone for dinner, drinks and now brunch and intend to go again and again.

Good down home cooking! Nothing too fancy, but you can taste the fresh ingredients. French onion was excellent!
Went to Rigbys during the off season on a Friday evening. Food was excellent, service the same. The restaurant was well-patronized without being crowded. Would recommend this to others without hesitation.

I chose Rigby's based on another rating site's ratings for our brunch party of 10 after our wedding. We arrived and were seated promptly and the complimentary mimosa's came next. The soup - Curried squash was excellent, I could eat 3 or 4 bowls probably. The salmon crepe my wife ordered was tasty too. I ordered an entree of Eggs Benedict with smoked hollandaise which was perfect w/ the best asparagus and perfectly cooked potatoes. My Mom's friend ordered steak and eggs and the steak was so tender, just succulent. The baked french toast my wife ordered with strawberry compote was delicious and the chorizo was very tasty as well. The service here is top notch, not one complaint - everyone in my family and friend all remarked how excellent the brunch was - a perfect experience. I would recommend Rigby's wholeheartedly!
